i would just like to add that not all women chose to be prostitutes some women are trafficked from abroad (they are promised jobs as securities etc then forced to work in brothels in countries like the uk).

Rs. 30,000 is the lower limit. There is no upper limit; this depends on what you seek for your pleasure. I know someone who paid almost Rs. 1,25,000 for one-night stay just recently.
I know what I have said may offend some people here but this is the truth. You can do a lot of ‘immoral’ things in Pakistan. If someone says that LGB doesn’t exist in Pakistan, then I’m sorry to say it’s not true. These days there are a lot of gays around. Child sexual abuse is common in Pakistan, as it is in many other countries.

prostitution helps to fight off over population, now im going to go ahead nd assume these girls in the bussiness aren't free from sexual diseases . point in case infected female = infected male, nd soon the innocent guy out to have fun finds out he has sum disease or other, possibly aids nd poof in a couple of years he's dead. other than that i think prostitution oughta be taken action against. organizations nd wat not spend so much money on trying to finds cures for h.i.v nd aids i think they oughta spend time on first attckin the direct problem nd then going for the cure

many women are forced into prostitution especially in the third world but human trafficking happens everywhere
women have pimps that have had controll over them since they were young so its sad :( and many can never leave that world alive

Prostitution does not help over population because you get dumpster, malnutritioned and crack babies in the process. You get generations of uneducated women with a literacy rate of about 10%, and that keeps growing to become an uncivilized population with no means of stability; Another words, I don't see how prostitution helps overpopulated areas. I mean you're comparing it to an epidemic or the swine flu. I think this is something that can be prevented to some extent
Prostitution is a voluntary sale of a labor service. If both adults are consenting on the terms of the services then it should not be a problem.
How can you say its voluntary? It is a problem because most of these girls don't have a choice. Take Bangladesh for example, the girls are illiterate and either get married to an nasty buddha when they hit puberty or are forced into prostitution. They're both equally disgusting (Astag). Or take the man/woman who doesn't have a choice and follows in their parents' footsteps. It's still not voluntary in my eyes.
