WHY DO PEOPLE HATE PAKISTANIS

hi everyone how r u all well there is racism but why most of all do all the races hate pakistanis and why is there racism within pakistanis ?

I HAVE EXPERIENCED IT AT INTERVIEW BEING DISCRIMANATED BECAUSE OF A PAKISTANI I HAVE SEEN WHITE PEOPLE LOOK ITS REALLY BAD

Perhaps if you could provide some details regarding your experience, we could discuss the subject....

Where? When? How?

well no matta wat u really r e.g pakistani, india, bangladeshi, afgan u look asian these budoo goray r too blind too see if ur a pak or ind or somethin else they think we all r pak, so wen a some1 does somethin bad they think it's pakistani person,
some pakistani r another bunch of budoos who think that avin a caste matters, they need to get it into there thick skulls that they r not in pakistan n e more no1 care who they were b4 they got out of pakistan, they r all workin 4 a livin and their caste doesn't matta outside pakistan

I remember having brought up this issue a few months ago in a post called 'discrimination'.

yeah yeah…i know eh…they just don’t know that pak, india, sri lanka and bangladesh are diff countries…think its just one big blob of a country…
ignorant gora friend of mine was like "san…for a tamil person…ure pretty white " i was like

Racism does exist. However, not all people of a race are bad. Just the way no 1 person likes to be judged in the bad-Pakistanis' category, it's not fair to think that all Caucasians, Africans, Hispanics etc. are racist either. Regardless of where a person moves, they have to make their own place on the social ladder as well as in the eyes, hearts and minds of others. For you, no one can else can do that but yourself. It's a difficult task but humans do have the ability created in them to adapt to new changes well. As long as you are doing all you can, who cares what anybody else thinks of you, or how they judge you.

Sure at times some Asian folks bring a bad name to the entire race, but no one and I mean no one can label an individual, unless that individual sits back and chooses to let themselves be labelled. If they truly are a better person and are willing to let themselves be recognized separately, apart from the rest of the group, then they can overcome all hindrances.

If someone shows racism towards you, in any way what-so-ever due to your religion or race, stand up for yourself. There is nothing more important then self respect and integrity. They only go after people they know will not take any action in response to their racisim. Take my word on this one, if they know you have the ability to rock their world and turn it upside down, they will stay away from you. They can not afford to risk investing their time and status in a losing battle.

Yes, I believe there is racism everywhere, even in the United States I didn't believe this until I experienced a car accident and the police officer was a racist, I could tell by his actions that he was discriminating against me. First when the accident happened, he let the other person go within 5 minutes and I was there for 2 hours!!!. then he gave me a citation, I asked him what was my fault, explain how is it my fault, and he said thats not what I am here for, you can go to the judge and argue with him, and I had just asked him a simple question. Afterwards, When he left I wasn't able to start my car, and it was in the middle of the road I didn't know what to do, so i called 911 again asking for the same police officer, the operator got a hold of him and she said he is saying that he can't help you anymore, its not his problem and I should call my mechanic... I was soo shocked cuz i didn't know what to do, first I had last nights shalwar kameez on, which wasn't too warm and it was snowing!! and it said no parking by the side walk and my car was in the middle of the road.. soo, after I managed to call some other people and get it ot the side. Everyone who looks at the accident report has said that it was the other persons fault, cuz my car was rear ended.. but the police gave me the citation saying that it was my fault, I did plea not guilty and will fight this in court. But after this experience i truly felt discriminated, and it was not a good feeling.

So wish me good luck. and thanx for listening.:)

nice stuff bholi bhali larki so what u are saying is that we should forget about our cultuture and becming christians and act and behave like them good lesson u teaching everybody talyian bhai talyian.

Good luck Roshi! Do fight the citation in court! In most states, and in WI as well, in a "rear ending" accident, its usually the driver that rear ends the other car who is deemed at fault, and I am sure the judge will side with you on this one, Inshallah! I do also encourage you to register a formal complaint of discrimination with your police dept or the district/county/city attorney's office against the police dept, and that particular officer!

Beleive me...if you were a black person, and filed a complaint, there would be a lot of people to support you. I think its high time the south asian community in the states wakes up, and educates it-self on the rights granted to us a citizens/human beings in this country...we need to stop swallowing our anger at such, very frequent, violations of our civil rights. At the very leas, we pay these racists back for the inconviniences their discriminitory behavior has caused us!

sometimes happens with me. was playing chess in bar and someone aked me whether i won. i told him that i won. person with him says 'u won with white?' i thought he was talking of having white pieces on board. i said 'ya! i was white.' after some time i realized that he was suprised that a white man lost to a brown man in chess. he asked me for game and lost in less than 25 moves but was not decent in defeat. blamed it on someone talking loudly and disturbing his concentration.

though i meet such people once in a while in foreign countries, majority is not like that. in fact, pretty decent and more open and liberal than indians in india are. we have our own version of racism. how are the girls darker than average treated in our society?

Ahmer Thanx for the encouragment:)

And Yes I did complain with the police captain, Aboo jaan and I went their and he was as shocked as I was, they will act seriously on this atleast that what he said to me,

Just pray for me, cuz the damages on the car is alot on my car its damage of $4,589 and if i lose i will have to pay for his car and mine  Allah se dua karna meri lye

Tell us about your experience dost.
Make that negative experience into positive by not hating them. Its all visual. White, black, brown, etc whatever. If you have all of them in one big room and you see everyone there like white, black, brown .. but you won't know if you turn the lights off in that room. Everyone would be same, its your vision but sometimes the brain takes that signal in a negative way. Its hard but one must need to learn how to hate the hate. I work with some African Americans but I don't call them bl*. They don't mind anyone calling them bl but I mind. Anyways, there are so many of us that we must need to learn how to make negative positive. We should work hard not complain. And Inshallah we will make a difference that you are looking for not being as a pakistani but as a human that 's all matter and blood is red not white nor black nor brown and not of anyother color either.

Stay on the path of our din and you will be positive.Take care.

Regards

I don't know why you feel like this and have no idea what kind of experiences you have experienced but I would like to add some comments on things, which I have seen people making negative remarks about Pakistanis:

...munufacturin of: illegal passports, illegal green cards, licenses, and other official documents, ALL made in Pakistan - So they all add up, you know.

Given the money and appreciation, I believe that talent that we have in Pakistan can out number the sucess of Japanes, not by doing illegal things but by doing technological and scientific things. When a great mind can't find a job, what do you expect him to do to be able to feed his family, etc? Of course, he is going to do something illegal out of despration.

:)

Howzzaaaaaaaaat !!!

You know why. Because all these white people think that this country is theirs only and they hate it when any immigrants come into this country. On the other hand, black people who were brought here years ago against there will, discriminate us as well because we are much better than them in the sense we are more educated, live better lives, have family values and most of all dont have children out of wed-locks.

sallu,
I even don't have clue as to what r u trying to say...can u tell us something abt racism u've brought in....I don't believe there is any kinda racism within Pakistan...

Pakistan zindabad

its funny how we all go thru this or that kind of discrimination, yet we still wanna live here with a "green card/citizenship".....ironic...

;)

Why a post on CASTE and so many people interested????? Castism still exist even though Hinduism has given way to Islam or christianity..........

All white people?

I was in the military for a few years (an orginaisation which contains a higher percentage of white people than in society, and as such, is supposed to be more racist than society in general) and I expereinced zero/none/zilch/nada racism.

Hving grown up in a chistian country, I see more racism from the pakistani community than I do from the the whites.
