Re: Why Do Pakistanis Reject their Indian heritage?

To summarize this thread once and for all:

1) The jatts and Rajputs in Pakistan share a similar heritage with the jatts and Rajputs in India. Roughly 50% of Pakistan shares a similar heritage with roughly 10% of India.
2) the Sindhis in Pakistan share a similar heritage with 750,000 Sindhis in India.
3) The Pashtuns of Pakistan share a similar heritage with the Pashtuns of Afghanistan.
4) The kashmiris of Pakistan share a similar heritage with the kashmiris in Kashmir.
5) The Balochs of Pakistan share a similar heritage with the balochs in Iran and also Afghanistan.
6) The Kalasha of Pakistan(roughly 4000) share a similar racial heritage with the Nuristanis of Afghanistan(around 700,000). Culturally however, Nuristanis are devout muslims while the Kalasha retain their culture.
7) The Brahuis of Pakistan(roughly 1million) share a racial heritage with the Dravidians of India. Culturally however i don't think they are similar.
8) The sheedis of Pakistan share a racial heritage with people from East Africa. Their culture however is distinct now.
9) The muhajirs(urdu speakers) are too diverse a group to be labeled under one name.
