They came to rule just like in any part of the world and brought goodness to the land. India was not the only place where people came from outside to rule.

Whenever Indian budget appears, most of the T.V. channels seek and broadcast his opinion.
I also had a live discussion on this topic with few of my colleagues and one of my Bengali Brahmin colleague who had a complete knowledge of the whole sequence of 1971 war, explained how India took advantage of trouble in East Pakistan and how our media spread the false propoganda.
Today, you make a random survey of 100 Indians and I am pretty sure everybody would tell that Pakistan invaded India. This is the result of false and biased propoganda by a biased media.
If you think that we are right then why we are not allowing international media to cover events in Kashmir. Iraq and Palestinian events are covered by international media and so they figure prominently in every international news. But international media is not allowed either in India or in Pakistan to cover Kashmir events and so we get biased news from both sides.
I still stand by it.. india did not invade west pakistan. !!! it was pakistan thinking that Indians are playing too much politics in the east decided to take out kashmir from the Indians.. a foolish ploy anyway.. just like the kargil.
Remeber Sal, if Indira wanted at that time to go for decisive victory, she would have done that. The war was over in just over 2 weeks with around 50, 000 pakistani men surrundering infront of the indian general. Tell me if Indira wanted to anex all of of Pakistan , why would she go for a treaty. Dont tell me US pressurised. U know well that India was in the side of USSR. If any move from US would have USSR getting into it.

Re: Why do Pakistanis consider Mahmud Ghazni, Mohammad Ghauri & Aurangzeb Great Musli
India first opened the war front by attacking East Pakistan. East Pakistan crumbled but on the western front both were equal, there was no decisive military advantage. Of course, I agree that the moral of Pakistani troops had gone down because of the setback in East Pakistan but this doesn't mean that Indian military could have annexed Pakistan.
Remember, Germans had very easy and fluid initial massive victory against Russians during second world war and everybody thought that Russia was gone in a few more weeks. But Russians fought back and sacrificed five million people and eventually they reached the Berlin first.
I mean to say we shouldn't underestimate others. At least I won't

So rich and diversified is this heritage that Pakistani nation can be proud of its glorious past, be Islamic, Post Islamic or pre-Islamic period as far back as pre-historic times. No other country of the world can produce the treasure of by gone days as can be found in Pakistan. It is now incumbent upon us to treasure our national heritage and save it from further deterioration and theft.
