one's hero is others villain.i dont know if they were good aur bad coz i didnt lived in their period.moreover dont believe in histories they r just stories.History can never be 100% right and the histories r always partial to the the person who rules the roost at that particular time. PPl here say that muslims came and ruled us for 1000 years.they civilized us we(hindu) were the sub human before muslim came.but excuse me sir india was always attacked by external powers right from aryan times(if aryan invasion theory is correct but now a days ppl r contesting that theory also).Aryans when they attacked they labled dravidians as uncivilised sub humans.PPl claimed aryans r the super humans and they ve the right to civilze these ppl.For all posters here aryans were just like any other nomadic ppl.they came to india coz of its natural and physical wealth. then came huns..etc..etc...then muslims...and every one came for indian wealth coz india was the land of opportuinity at that time likewas america is today.they came they ruled they flourished and they contributed to indian civilization.so after muslims came british and other european powers for them also india was full of wealth and indians both hindu,muslim sikh etc were the sub humans and its was their duty to civilze this crowd.and meanwhile they also contributed to the indian civilization withe advance science and democracy concepts.indian civilization has thrived from the first human set foot on this land.as far as i know dravidians. different races of ppl came and settled over here who benifited from india and india benifited from them.its like give and take.for those who contributed to it r heroes like buddha,jain,ashok,akbar,the cholas and shakyas of south etc.

Now if pakistani believes in aryan theory and thinks that they r much civilized than us the indians then its good for them.coz same was the thinking of europeans in the early 18th and 19th century.its like saying might is right.

Let me tell u ppl india is not about religion (hindu muslim sikh jain buddist etc) its about the thinking .its about its dwellers.its about its civilization(however uncivilised our paki friends thinks we r,,,,,but we r still the same human creat3d by the term called god)and how can he differentiate in his creation.

Your above ideas was a pleasant surprise for me. I had exactly similar ideas in my mind but never expressed it. While reading above lines, I thought I had written the whole thing. How come we both have exactly similar thinking on this subject?

Anyway the only difference between us is that you seem to be Hindu while I happen to be a Muslim. And the only error I would like to correct is the statement "India was always attacked by external powers". This statement was true until 1971. Everybody in India believes that India was invaded by Pakistan in 1971 thanks to our biased media. But the whole international community and the eminent Indian journalists know the fact that it was India which attacked Pakistan in 1971 to take advantage of civil war situation in East Pakistan and eventually divided it. I am sorry to admit here as an Indian how our biased media and politicians brainwash us that we never invaded any country. Indira Gandhi showed her extremely opportunistic idea of taking advantage of other's misery and she displayed similar ethics while dealing with her domestic political opponents too. Once she orchestrated the whole ruling non-congress party in Haryana to become the whole congress rule thanks to her dirty DAL BADAL politics and thus brought more and more immoral and corrupt people in Indian politics. It's her legacy of taking opportunity of other people's misery which has distroyed our beautiful democracy of Nehru and Shastri era.
