Sounds like you’re projecting your own insecurities on to a multiethnic, multicultural nation of 80million+ that has different native languages depending on the region of the country. And exactly what part of English being an official language of Pakistan do you not understand?

Official language and National Language are two very distinct and different entities. Hope you may find the difference if search a bit more.

The expectation is IF you speak English, it should be good English. Otherwise don’t speak it, right?

If you want to have a career, stability, etc…you will have to learn some English. Doesn’t matter how good or bad it is…don’t you need it?

English is not even universal language. Ask Chinese, Germans, French, Arabs, Spanish, Italians etc.

This Khannas is very peculiar for either Pakistanis or many Indians.
