Why do non-religious people think that religious people live in fool's paradise?

Are you trolling us, bud? Would it make sense to teach someone to use carpentry tools if they wanted to learn to use paint brushes? It is like saying “I know you want to paint but here, carpentry is so much better.” On top of that, you do not want to get criticized. Whether the criticism is right or wrong, it is justified because you should not be teaching a painting student how to use carpentry tools.
