this thread is not here to discuss things like why mma or ppp need skoorty... I think under the rule of such a dictator every pakistani needs skoorty but that's beside the point

and the point aI am trying to make is that ppl should get beyond their selective amnesia and remember what security was like for other top government officers of Pakistan, whether it was benazir, nawaz or zia. And I doubt benazir or nawaz's life was in as much danger (except from each other)
Similar security details are followed in other countries, and how strict they are vary by the political climate.
I dont think there is any country where the President or Prime minster shows up on a discount airline's economy class, and hails a cab or drives his car thru some bazaar to get to his appointments.

what's wrong with daira ghazi khan? if it wasn't for musharaf and his prejudice against pathans and his passion for killing them dera ghazi khan would have been a big city now
I know you people are big time musharaf fans and will never admit that he's wrong when he clearly is... and you people always cry about how mma are disturbing the lives of average pakistanis with their jaloosis... yet you don't see that musharaf with his skoorty of 10 blocks for a private visit is making life even more horrible for the pakistanis that are already suffering under his dictatorship

Musharraf has not been in power since 1947, so dera ghazi khan had plenty of chances to become a big city without any interference from Musharraf, unless he had more control over the country even when he was in primary school.

When musharraf is wrong I completely criticize him, kinda like how he hjas failed to put down the xtremist thugs like sipah e sahabah and sipah e muhammad and other sectarian morons who seem to get carte blanche from our esteemed religious/political leaders.
Again, is musharraf the only leader in Pakistan's history or is the only leader in the world who has a security detail?

however, the question is why have no other leaders ever taken any of these groups head on, and howcome MMA karta dhartas dont seem to say too much against the atrocities of these groups.

What happened, In Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi , someone shot him to death…So you tell us If you are a PM of pakistan,…would you trust your own people to protect you.

again it's not about if they need security or not.. it's about the 3 blocks of security for a personal visit and the disturbance it causes in a pakistani's life
