Nobody is a perfect Muslim and its senseless to expect that MMA leaders are going to be perfect Muslims and perfect examples.
HOWEVER, the MANIFESTO of MMA, their aims and objectives are according to our religion and that's their ultimate aim, and that's what's important.
Atleast they have defined what they believe in and it is according to Islam, and they are working towards that direction, unlike other political parties which have secular agendas.

Well, the fact that they can call the America the great satan and yet have no quams about sending their kids there.
They arent perfect Muslims yet they pass themselves of as the foremost authority on religion. The entire country is beholden to their oppinions. One call for strike and everyone is on their knees. Their priorities are limited to creating some vague “Islamic” society with almost no regard for peoples actually problems.
Other political parties may not have the guidance they need, they may not have a manifesto, but I would vote for them any day.
And if the MMA is so organized, why dont they spell out thier plan for economic revival as well as they do their plan for spiritual enlightenment…?

Once you get this disease you start thinking that Mullahs are the cause of everything! Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge about politics of that era to truly comment on the point you raised. Maybe someone else can answer you better.
Also, I didn't say that the MMA is a perfect political party and their leaders have not made mistakes. All humans are fallible. What you have pointed out could be hypocrisy or there could be other reasons behind it, BUT the fact remains that today MMA is the best political party to lead the country and the only mainstream political force with an Islamic manifesto.
