A new study has found that what boys lose in the process of circumcision turns out to be the most sensitive parts of the penis.
Why lose all the sensitive parts which God has given?
Researchers prodding dozens of male penises with a fine-tipped tool have found that the five areas most receptive to fine-touch are routinely removed by the surgery. The finding was detailed in the British Journal of Urology International.
Yaar denada, part of being muslim is unconditional belief. Its a package, one can take it or leave it.
Then why do you guys always say Islam's a rational religion? That everything about it just makes sense. How can you have doubts about the religion and still say "we're forced to believe it because its another one of those unconditional beliefs."
A very weak reason to believe in religion. You should be ashamed of being Muslim if you justify your actions by saying it's an unconditional belief.
By that reasoning the very basic clause of islam is flawed, i.e. belief in the unseen.
Why is it then that Muslims unconditionally believe in the existance of Allah. We have never seen Him yet we testify that there is no god but Allah. Not very rational is it? I hope every muslim on the planet is ashamed of himself/herself for so carelessly believeing in Allah's existance unconditionally.
If its possible to unconditionally believe in the existance of Allah, there shouldnt be a problem following His commandments without question.

Very true............But is'nt that's what education is all about ? When you become a learned man, you ask why and don't follow everybody blindly like sheeps ? I guess that's what denada is asking WHY follow the rules which were written 1000's of years ago with no proof in hand ? Being a Hindu, or follower of sanathan dharam, I might be suggested 1001 things to live my life with, but I have just selected few which makes sense and I can accomodate with my daily life. I don't feel guilty abt anything nor I ever will. Nobody predicted 4000 years while writing the holy books that I will be working from 9-5 on a computer or will I have time to pray two times a day or not ? If somebody writes a Quran nowdays, he is going to chuck multiple non-sense rules out and may include new rules like not have fooling around with ppl at your workplace etc etc. It cannot get simpler than this.......Times change, society changes, ppl civilise for the better. Some screwup's don't change and are been brain washed and want to go the other way round and that's were we have clashes. It is evident(from the dark ages) that ppl on earth are getting civilised with time unless we go back in time and start living the dark ages again.
Well rocking vibes it again boils down to weather you believe if the Quran is indeed word of God or not.
Now this is what we believe so play along for a while even if it doesnt make sense to you: Muslims really do believe that the Quran was written by God and that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is the messenger of God who delivered the Quran to us. We also believe that God is not limited to time, space or any finite terms that we look at our finite universe in. And in his infinite wisdom God has written the Quran. It is a timeless book, not limited to only the 700 ADs. Anybody who has thoroughly studied the Quran can appreciate that fact. Once its established that the Quran is a timeless book, theres no changing anything in it.
So thats our belief. Its what takes to be muslim. Nobody is forced to believe this. One can walk away and believe something else more convenient if he / she likes or dont believe anything at all.
What is the reasoning behind this. I know it is relgious. Does it say, that we are not made perfect and need to modify what God has created.
Isnt that the case with facial/armpit hair? Or even fingernails. We're born with the ability to grow em yet we keep cutting them. Does that mean we are not made perfect?

Btw whats a bobbit? :-S
You are right, it does not make sense to me, Do me a favour and if you get a chance, watch the Red hot catholic love episode of South Park. You will know where I am coming from.......I totally respect your views and I know that you have been taught the Islamic way of living since you were born but there is nothing wrong in being open to other's view. To me all the Holy books are full of stories for people to learn from to be better citizens of the world. A lot of ppl did and that changed this world a lot since the dark ages........You tell me, if you were one of the normal human being from the dark ages(where barbaric tribes are killing/raping each other) what would you do ? Well, if you ask me I would try to do something to get things in order. To bring that change, either, I would beat the hell out of them which would have brought a temporary change or induce fear about somthing thing that ppl have never seen and bring out a permanent change. I believe, that's what Jesus and Mohammed did, they tried to bring things to order by the fear of God and both succeeded in a large way. Over the time some rules were dictated and were very useful at that time. It may not make much sense in todays world but it still carries on.
In that case you should never take any kind of precautions against any kind of viruses or bacteria or diseases.
precautions.......Are you refereing to Condoms over here or something else. Does islam allow to wear a Condom or some crazy mullah has another twisted rule for it ?
