Not a valid reason. Foreskin and hair/nails cannot be compared.

33% of men are circumcised. What is the percentage of Jews and Muslims in the world? There wouldnt be a large number of non Jews / Muslims who are circumcised.

Folds of foreskin provides a warm and fuzzy environment for microbes to nest in & multiply & hence the increased risk for various infections, such as UTIs, STIs, HIV - as shown in a recent study. You may or may not get them depending on ur lifestyle, hygiene habits etc.

Circumcision is a sunnah, like many other things. Overwhelming majority of muslims tend to follow it. Iss se aapko kya faraq parta hai?

Hey I am not complaining of lack of sensation but at the same time I don't know if I had a foreskin maybe it would be even better.
Proper hygiene reduces the risk of diseases not the circumcision.

Again it's all debateable, if you live hygienically I don't think it's a risk.

It's a sunna thats it. If you are born in a muslim family you loose your foreskin even before you know, what is sunnah what is farz.

Another question can I sue my parents for circumcising me without my consent, afterall its a sunnah not a farz. :)

We circumcise because...

**· **It looks better (surveys show women prefer it, even in countries such as Britain where it is not traditional the girls say they like cut better).

**· **It's cleaner (no smegma/cheese, urine etc. accumulating under excess skin).

**· **It's healthier (greatly reduces the chance of diseases and infections, including the fatal ones such as HIV). Not only is it healthier for the circumcised man himself but even for his female partner as it greatly reduces her chances of getting Cervical Cancer, Human Papillomavirus, AIDs etc.

God created us perfect but he also taught us to maintain and groom our bodies, by your logic the umbilical cord on babies shouldn't be cut, we shouldn't cut our hair, trim our nails, exfoliate to remove dead skin or remove a bad tooth.

A lot of boys are naturally BORN with NO foreskin yet they function perfectly, all it is, is excess skin.

The health, hygiene and aesthetic benefits of circumcision are well known, in fact only recently in NY (USA) they were performing free circumcision in hospitals on boys/men of minority/uneducated families who don't traditionally circumcise to stop the spread of AIDs/HIV.

The only people who are against circumcision are gay perverts and over-sexualised women who have a fetish for foreskins.

Circumcision doesn't reduce "pleasure", if anything it increases it as circumcised men have more control to last longer, uncircumcised penises get that "raw" feeling which might be more sensitive but not more "pleasurable" and so they ejaculate (cum) far too quickly (premature ejaculation) before they reach orgasm (if they have one it's far weaker than that of a circumcised male who has built it up over a longer duration), on top of that the female partners of circumcised males are more likelier to reach orgasm as their partners last long enough to bring them to orgasm.

Uncircumcised penises are ugly, smelly and dirty with all that raw excess skin, not to mention the fact that they're unmanly compared to circumcised ones which are far more masculine and better developed (as they've not been constricted by a tight skin).

The majority of Americans who are White Christians, majority of South Koreans, majority of Filipinos and also a considerable amount of native/aboriginie Australians, South/West Africans, Pacific Islanders and Polynesian Islanders amongst others are circumcised and they are mostly Non-Muslim/Jewish.

The Word Health Organisation recommended in 2007 that "promoting male circumcision should be recognized as an additional, important strategy for the prevention of heterosexually acquired HIV infection in men." Yes, I agree with that. There was a survey by a Indian magazine that found that Pakistanis are more sexually confidant than Indians. Also Pakistani men have much larger penis than Indian men and are more virile. In fact Indian Muslims have larger penis than Non-Muslims. I will post the link when available.

Seeing is believing seems to be the message you are giving. So in line with your argument.............Do you believe in Atom? The core component of matter?

My point is that its alright to believe in something if not seen or heard and with all the circumstancial evidences one is compelled to believe that there is a much powerful existence which is running the universe.

Coming to the topic................
As many people have tried to explain to the thread starter who has tried to show that circumcision is a good practice to follow by all means.

The thread starter commited the biggest mistake in of putting all eggs in one basket which is 'losing the so called sensitive part of the skin' as an evidenct that the practice of cirumcision is wrong.

First of all, losing foreskin has never ever been found to be a basis of complaints by a man in the history of mankind that the man regretted and said..........I wish i had not gotten circumcised so i could have more sensitivity or pleasure.

Circumcision is heiginic (Many bacteria may find safe heaven inside the folds of skin) it also prevents penile cancer. Circumcision has been found to reduce unnecessary friction if you know what I mean.

Millions even billions of men have been satisfied in their lives after being circumcised and those who look for these kind of excuses need further evaluations and appropriate treatment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why make an issue on a piece of tissue?:)

Just remember, the biggest organ of pleasure in the body is not the penis or whatever.......its the brain.:)
