I noticed this a lot, girls hate other girls and they will try to put down ones efforts and/or suggestions in a work place etc. they will bad mouth co workers. and go as far as to start rumors.

why is it?

we are naturally jealous *****es...oh and competition for men...so in the end it all boils down to men...therefore its men fault if we hate other girls!

I have worked with a lot of women over the years (I'm a legal assistant, majority are females) and fortunately, I have not really run into this problem or seen it that much. I did have an unfortunate incident at my old firm because of a jealous co-worker, but the rest of my years in this field, I haven't really seen it.

I figure it does come down to jealousy, but don't generalize by saying we are all like this.

Some are some aren;t. same applies to men. At my sisters work (which is a very big place hence lots of alternate ways) there are these two guys who cannot stand eachother, so much that their offices are somewhat next to eachother and they have never walked pass eachothers offices, they always go around it. Yep
