Re: Why do gay people want religious ceremonies?

If European countries are allowed to ban a tiny piece of cloth that doesn't harm anyone whatsoever, if they're allowed to fine those who wrap this thing around their head, I am 100% behind Islamic countries jailing/fining those who cross the limits of Islamic law.

Do I want them killed, that too brutally in public? Definitely not.

Quit making it sound like Islam is all about death penalties. Capital punishment has prevailed in every single society throughout the history. Over 200 crimes were punishable by death in Britian only 2 centuries ago! I can't even list 200 crimes!

What I can do is name 2 crimes that are on the "gunah-e-kabira" list in Islam: Murder and Homosexuality (and many others ofcourse). Don’t tell me to treat one differently than the others because you don’t get to decide that. The US still executes murderers and that is ok with most of us (even though the psychos "can't help it" either! Who knows, they were probably born that way!?!) but it decided to take homosexuality off the list. Countries that practice shariah law aren't taking anything off the list for anyone, their rules are still the same as they were 14 centuries ago and that is where the problem starts. In my opinion, these methods of punishment are outdated, they were revealed at a time this form of punishment was very very common everywhere. Do you see the Quran mentioning forensics anywhere?

The rulings on homosexuality are perfectly fine though. I can expect the US to ban capital punishment for murder but I don't expect anyone to not punish murderers at all in the name of leaving everything up to God. In the same way, I don't support the execution of those who go against the shariah law but I don't expect Islamic countries to support homosexuality either.

Re: Why do gay people want religious ceremonies?

i'm still stuck at figuring out why most pakistani muslims have hindu wedding ceremonies.. might be a similar reason hmm..

Re: Why do gay people want religious ceremonies?

Hindu wedding ceremonies... How so?

I think your reffering to the Bride wearing red and all that wedding drama over several days and paying out cash for what not.... not all Pakistani Muslims do it.

Then again the core of the ceremony namely the Nikkah bit is all Islamic the rest is cultural I think, just like the other things.

Re: Why do gay people want religious ceremonies?

This is another proof that they have twisted minds and twisted personalities. Islam categorically in Quran has banished homosexual and have mentioned that one whole nation was wiped out by Allah in punishment of their gay behavior and perversion. But these so called Muslims gay think that they still be Muslim and gay and would look cool if they have a Islamic wedding , that is sick.

Re: Why do gay people want religious ceremonies?

They are human and commit sins like the rest of us but why should religion endorse their sins any more than it is expected to endorse ours? No one has the right to persecute them. That being said, how is denying them religious endorsement 'making hell on earth for them'?

Re: Why do gay people want religious ceremonies?

LOL

Re: Why do gay people want religious ceremonies?

well they ask .. to accept them as humans .. we did

then they ask for rights.. we gave them.

now they are asking for acceptance in religion, what the hell humans, leave it to Allah.
