Many boys ive seen who have/had have serious/just fun relationships with girls say they'll lie to their future wives about ever having girlfriends i.e. when they take rishtas for girls...

What you are saying is true! 100% true! I still know some people who lie to their wives about having gfs. This is really pathetic. I know one guy, Hes from Pak (sadly). He got married last yr and his wife is still back home. He lives here in London and every other night he goes outside and atleast finds one prostitute and hes got soooo many gf, countless! This is really pathetic, i told him many times to stop all this but he doesnt listen. I once asked him what will happen if your wife finds out all this? And he said "Koi baat nahi, biwi ko sirf khaane (food) & kapdee (clothes) sai matlab hona chahiye".
This guy is such a retard, he just doesnt listen to anyone, hes not even scared of Allah (astaghfirulla).
This is just one story i know of, and i know there are worse cases than this. And to say the least some girls are same infact some even worse. Tauba Tauba

Actually, this has a basis in biological makeup! Males respond to visual stimulation while females respond to emotional stimulation (ie., tender feelings, thoughts, sayings)

But surely if your married to someone, she is your 'the one' she isyour world, she is your everything, someone you love the most, someone you truly find the prettiest, the most beautifulest person in the whole world, someone who you'd be in love with forever, someone who you'll be with in jannah...

I think this thread should be merged with the one "why girls lie" because the reasons should be the same as the issue is one and the same. If you agree that dating is wrong, then it is wrong for both men and women. If you agree that premarital sex is wrong, then it is wrong for both men and women. If you agree that lying to deliberately deceive your spouse is wrong, then it is wrong for both men and women. There are no double standards in Islam, regardless of what may occur in our cultures

reasons are not the same, the impact is not the same, we do have different standards for women then men, its not right, but its true.
