Why do boys lie about having had girlfriends???

Many boys ive seen who have/had have serious/just fun relationships with girls say they’ll lie to their future wives about ever having girlfriends i.e. when they take rishtas for girls…

i don’t get it why?

I didn't lie about that. I handed a long list of all girls to my wife before marriage :D

**I know some guys are such scum bags, they will any thing to get intimate with a Girl.
Even if that means to promising marriage with her.
I know girls lose sleep when they know what guy was up too.

Once one of my friends aunt said to me "don't be naive girl do it knowingly"
But poor girls they lose at the end!! Boys do tell stories, about the girls they don't respect, to their friends. **

The thing is, these men shouldnt be marrying in the first place. However, they buckle under societal and parental pressures.

Men lie for the same reason females lie! To be accepted by their spouses...and respected by them! It's not only girls that hide their past...men hide their past, present too at times!

Boys lie about their past relationships - really!? I thought they loved to swim in the glory of having multiple women in their lives.

Seriously, I don't think boys lie about it. They love to rub it in at any given chance.

look its very simple, when you are trying to meet someone on your own, you meet ppl, u spend time with them, and maybe it would work out maybe it would not. so what do you do, pretend you never met anyone, never were 'involved' or dated?

because god knows if i had to depend on the ladies being introduced by concerned relatives and acquanitances.

Before i met my wife i ahd met someone and it did not work out becuase as her family would not get past the ethnicity thing. Later it was someone who was cool but diff sect and it became a total mess, and justwas not going to work out, then it was someone who had a different lifestyle in mind that would not work with my family needs.

you move one, fine, but no need to lie about not having anyone in your past. Heck I know who begum was involved with and it did not work out etc, dont see an issue with it really.

fear of rejection or loosing an appropriate match/rishta , made(both boys & girls) them do that

however lying or cheating is something totally unacceptable , in every relationship
