Do unto others as you would have them do to you. If you don’t want any negative threads about Pakistanis living abroad, also get rid of the tens of threads on the millions of things wrong with desis, especially men, back home.

I have said negative things but I’ve also said that there’s nothing wrong with marrying back home IF the girl or guy wants to, I support love marriages AND arranged (depending on the person and the situation) and so on.. The same people who complain about being bashed cos they’re from Pakistan literally won’t say ANYTHING positive about us ABCD girls. It’s a LOT more black + white with some of them and they’re defensive to the point of it becoming ridiculous..

I remember a thread in All Views last yr about the London riots and NONE of us denied the negative things and problems we have.. Last week one of the major headlines in the UK was about TWO lots of Pakistani sex gangs in Rochdale yet there doesn’t even seem to be a thread about it on GS whilst we have post after post about us ABCD girls, how difficult we are etc. When was the last time you heard about any UK born and bred Pakistani girl drug dealing or doing anything as remotely serious yet the general feeling is that WE have to improve our behaviour.. I don’t mind people pointing out my flaws but at the same time perhaps those doing it should take a look in the mirror and admit to theirs..
