Genders are stereo-typically brought up to deal with emotions differently. So do what is comfortable. Don’t do what is quickest. Do what feels right. If you wanna cry. Cry. If you wanna lie in bed all day by all means do so. But for the love of god shower. Funky smelling people are bad.
