So u did agree that Prophet's birthday is a special occasion. Now as stated above u shld also notice, Sending salam on Prophet on his birthday is sunnat of HazraT Esa a.s ?

am talking about Prophet a.s in general not Prophet s.a.w specifically.
An example of ALLAH sending a salam on Prophet a.s on his wiladat and then an example of Prophet a.s sending salam on Prophet a.s on his wiladat.
They r sufficient to say sending salam on Prophet a.s is Sunnat of Prophet. Sending salam on Prophet is following ALLAH, Hence Following HAQ.

I believe in celebrating Milad shareef becuase those before me did so and I uphold the decision of those before me… Simple.
At a personal level we all celebrate our birthdays so whats the fuss about celebrating Allah’s Rasools birthday?

reason is that i couldn’t find any references in Qur’an where Allah SWT! ordered to celebrate birth day of our Prophet Muhammad nor in hadiths where HE said to celebrate my milad day. Although reading darood and sending salam is best deed which we can offer not only this specific day, but every day and at any time in any condition. The purpose of our life should be follow the Sunnah (copy the life-style lived by our Prophet Muhammad ) at everytime on any day.

That's not the right approach Faris, people used the same argument to justify their idol worshipping beliefs to Prophet Ibrahim AS.

Friends here are some lectures by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri hwhere he gives refrences from Quran, Hadith and 1400 years of history.
BTW those who say Mawlid celebration is Biddah and Shirk their elders use to celebrate i.e. Shah Wali Ullah Mohdith Dehli RA and it is celebrated in Middle east and Africa. Only those countries are not celebrating which are under the influence of Saudies (I am sur you know the history of Saud Family, they were pirates and were brought in by British, based on an agreement that Saud Family will govern the country all the policy will be British).
I would suggest go and list to the Legality of Mawlid and comeback. Many of them talk about sahih Bukhari and they not even opened the Bukhari Sharif and event have not been in the street where Bukhari is kept. If you are really interested then you will listen to the lectures otherwise I will think you are just here to waste your own an others time.

Especially about Shaykh-ul-Islam Allama Ibn-e-Taimiya and many our of elders that they have clebrated Mawlid-un-Nabi SAW

My friend.... i dont have time for his Quaid-e-Azam taqreeer and How sahaba were the best bcoz they were the first one to follow Prophet s.a.w. They r the same who ran from Uhad.
