I dont think PG ke resgitered madaaris pe crack down hogaa, inshallah. Maslaa yeah he ke non-registered madaaris kee aaR main in darindon ne apnay dehshat gard recruiting centers khol rukhkhay hain. Ab chakki main aatay ke saath saath ghun bhi pistaa hai. HO saktaa hai ke kuch sahee madaris pe bhi nazlaa giray, lekin over all inshallah aisa nahi hogaa

The aggression of Govt. in that sad event was uncalled for. Regardless of what excuse given Govt./Army was wrong.
Murder of mis-informed but innocents cannot be justified.

But seriously, we have treated Quaid-e-Azam and Iqbal like we treated our religion.
We consider them sacred but everyone interprets whatever they said in a way that suits his/her agenda.
Jinnah changed his political ideas a few times. You can find several conflicting ideas from what he said over his political career. Everyone can find a snippet of what he said to support his/her arguments.
Although I haven’t read much of Iqbal but I have heard/read from several sources that his earlier poetry conflicts ideologically with his poetry in later part of his life. The ideas in his Persian poetry are different from his ideas in Urdu poetry.
Short story: everything they said/did should not be considered beyond criticism. And if you criticize something they said or did, you are not disrespecting the person, but just expressing an opinion over those words or actions.

Let us get back to the topic:
Yes forefathers can be criticsed for something they did. They CAN be criticized for their personal life beliefs but more so when it affected for a larger population.
What Quaid-e-Azam M. A. Jinnah did with his fellow men still is commendable.
If anyone has read the history:
A larger population of subcontinent DID benefit based of their beliefs and achieving freedom at the time when there was an imminent and obvious risk to the freedom to those people to exercise their rights when ruling British was to leave the subcontinent.
History tells us Allama Iqbal was not even present when two countries were to be made.
Iqbal merely supported what was the original premises/idea which was to make independent states of majority Muslims would be created within a central government.
What happened after his (M.A. Jinnah) sad and early demise is another issue.
