There is a difference between arrogance/attitude and backbone.

Girls from back home are not uneducated. There are plenty of educated girls in Pakistan. From what I know, a lot of guys tend to want somebody from back home because she has been raised in a different culture - and might have traits that they admire and want once they start their own family.

There is a major difference between people born/raised here, and there. There are certain qualities that people have there that you don’t find here. Vice versa. But I guess if one is a Pakistani, and values certain cultural aspects in a woman , they are most likely to be found in somebody from back home. Some guys prefer somebody from there , and there is nothing wrong with it. It does not mean they want to control an uneducated woman.

life1 is notorious for people ignoring most of what the OP is actually saying/asking.

the girls here might not like to hear it but the simple fact is pakistan has a huge population and pretty, educated girls aren’t hard to find these days. something i’ve become aware of only by going to pakistan on a regular basis.

everyone wants the best offer. to be honest, i know very few girls here, even if they themselves have very little to offer that will go for a grocery store worker. so if said guy can get a decent rishta in pakistan, why won’t he?

as for all the girls weebling about who will marry the girls here. those girls usually find a better rishta themselves in pak (than they would here). so everyone is a winner.

everyone in my generation is getting married at the moment (all between 24-30). some to people from pakistan, some to people from the UK.
the only ones having problems are the ones who are closed to many options. like a relative who is a doctor, who will only consider other doctors from the UK and who is uncompromising about changing her life after marriage. i’m not saying she’s wrong but obviously if she’s narrowed down what she wants so much, it’s gonna be hard.

so, from what I’ve read, the following points are a summary of what we all have learned from the various threads on GS:

all Pakistani guys outside Pakistan are wh0res and have STDs. they don’t want smart, educated, confident girls (aka local Pakistani girls) which is why they go back home and marry a pendo girl who is just desperate to escape her miserable life in Pakistan.

all girls in Pakistan are just dying to get out of Pakistan. they’re all biatches who’ve never moved a finger, spoiled with an infinite number of servants and what not.. they would still kill to leave this miserable, servant-filled life behind.

guys in Pakistan are just the worst. goes without saying. a total lost cause. less said about them the better.

all Pakistani girls outside the country are super smart, beautiful, educated and accomplished. even though no Pakistani boy deserves them, they’re willing to do all Pakistani males a gigantic favor by considering them for holy matrimony. they could have any gora they point at. after all, goras are just falling all over themselves to marry these girls. but these girls would rather marry the STD-infected, uneducated, illiterate, underachieving wh0res that are Pakistani men, so that they can sacrifice their lives for the greater good. why? because they have a heart of gold...

hahahaha, these western girls need to jump off a cliff if they think all that!
