Im beginning to think what will happen if g.s closes down and i cant read all you again.

God...i so dowonder how each one of you looks and is in real-life..

We shud all have party one-day and meet each other one day or something

But I bet none of us would be recogniseble like 'oh so this is so and so'
'my God i cant belive this is him/her'.

I was googling for pictures of nice clothes I could get made in Pakistan for a wedding and gupshup consistently came up in the image links. I think the members here have copied every design available on the internet!

I had to join to see some pics so I joined. Then I had to have 25 posts to pm anyone so I started to look for ways to waste...errr...I mean complete 25 post by posting on various topics. So I started chatting..and so far so good..mostly.

I am not sure I am totally a fan of this place yet. There are a lot of immature people, there are a lot of trivial topics that really dont need posting other than as a vent and a lot of people who very easily get offended at every comment directed towards them. And of course a few who obviously love to be the center of attention and you wonder..why??

The weakness of such sites is that there is no face to face where one can see visual clues about how a person feels about something (e.g. are they serious, joking, angry, just casually commenting etc..) It leads to a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding.

The good thing about this place is that there are some mature sensible people who balance the board by giving great advice, keeping the peace but also the momentum of a topic. Online forums also give you the anonymity to say your piece and develop a pseudonym more true to who you are and what you belief. You can finally be yourself without the fear of retribution or judgement..and if someone does..you dont have to care..you wont be meeting them any time soon!

The other positive is that genders seem to be removed. Men and women can safely have a discussion without the taboos of social interaction restrictions imposed by culture and religion.

And yes...this place allows me to talk a lot!:p

Well i was browsing Pak-Indo 1965 war in google when i bumped into this site, after that i read few more posts & then i read the online saga story. After reading the story i was like this place is kewl and than after 6 months i joined

I use to come to this site almost every day as a non-member and than after like 6 months i finally got time to joined, it was last OCT 2007…strange na ?

I was one of the people who read the discussions evrytime i had made a google search about wedding stuff over the past year and a half, joined mayb a few weeks ago and boy was it the wrong time!! i have finals to revise for and find myself distracted by GS.. GS is deffo addictive for me, i find myself on it most of the time when im online!!! It's a great place to learn alot tho! and im glad its full of fellow pakis :)

gna get back to revision ehem not ehem ;)

I forgot after joining. I never even visited my email account. One day I opened my email and saw azkars message may be on my birthday. I have been reading some posts in life and wanted to answer as some gave very wrong advice according to me was very childish.

I start posting with that name oh yeah the gr8heera. That's how I started.

Why I'm sticking as I love to talk in Urdu. ppl from same background and understand things according to my religion. Personally living in this country I didn't make any friend. Oh yes this is my habbit since my childhood. I don't want to make gora/gori my friend. I can't tolerate their nangapun and disgusting talks. EWWWW. Sorry no offence. Basically I'm this gorays and goray mulk hater. I love my Pakistan but have no conrol to go back to my own lovely country.

So yeah I can visit this mini Pakistan to talk and feel good.

I love real dramas and want to become little helper in any way for the ppl who need help. That's all I want.

I'm not a GS lover for sure. Please no offense. I tell the truth no matter what consequences I get. Why I don't like Is liaay kay yay site sahi Musalmanon ya Islam ki tarjumani naheen karta jis tarha karni chahyay. According to my Humble Opinion.

Yeah I love the ppl no matter who they are and how they are love to share do all the bakwas which in reality I don't do. LOL.
