Pakistanis are not racist.. In my opinion the most racist people are Indians. We, Punjabis are mostly caucasoid but still we mingle with native dravidians- my dadajaan used to tell me how dark-skinned and short Indians(in undivided Punjab) are- but still you have to sport a smile on your face..

ohh i just saw this threaddd…omg, didnt even realise.

But what was i supposed to think if he stared and followed me twice and then when i told him he started to follow another asian lady? and i also did say that i wasn’t being racist by saying they were black

come to think of it…everyone’s been racist some time in their life.

Desis aren't racists. They just hate everyone equally. :D

chacha, the challenge is that desis who dont like blacks do it because of stereotypes…stereotypes are the basic building blocks of justification of prejudism in people’s minds. so when we stereotype desis as being racist, and then inquire about the reasons of their ‘racism’ we are committing he exact same mistake that the desis whom we are blasting are making..i.e. ill formed stereotypes.

That was the entire point. goal was not to sharmindah anyone. In a way the exercise just showed why we have issues with prejudice…because we harbor those based on sterotypical images we form in our head and then see those as divine truths, as is the case here were desis en lage are blamed of being racist.
