I ask this question…sorry to say that i see alot of racism in our culture
why do we as pakistanis feel the need to judge and look down on people based on their race, nationality or skin color?
im bothered when i see people do this…for no reason…
it bothers me too…because we desis tend to isolate ourselves…yet we seem to say so many negative things about blacks, whites, etc…
i mean…how can we do this when we dont even spend the time to befriend them?
i read in another thread on gupshup too…this one forumer was complaining about the stares and treatment that she was receiving from a BLACK security guard…so its okay to look at blacks and think they are all murderers, killers and rapist???
was the black security guard suppose to ignore you and assume because ur desi you have higher moral and values and that u cant possible ever steal since ur paki…is this why ur angry?

you should NEVER claim racism unless u genuinely experienced such things...its not fair to the people who are TRULY racially discriminated against
racism - thinking ur superior to another, thinking ur smarter and have better moral values and upbringing than another group, putting others at a disadvantage based on what they look like, treating people inhumanely based on their race...THAT IS RACISM

i know everybody is aware...because we being desis...we see it all the time in our house.....i mean....dont u think its so wrong to judge people for simply being white or black?

what r u trying to prove..just discuss the issue..it wouldnt kill u…unless you feel justified in believing that we dont have a problem with discriminating against blacks
