Yes indeed its a global problem but in america, its usually only the trashy trailer home alcoholics who abuse like that. unfortunately, pakistani men even with great education and salaries continue to abuse their wives. again, abuse does not have to be physical. i have seen mental abuse very commonly in pakistani american guys.

No it’s not. Right now there is the case of Oscar Pistorius going on in South Africa, about him murdering his own girlfriend. He’s not white trash is he? He’s a global athletic star.Abuse happens, whether it be emotional, physical, sexual, regardless of economic status.

Mental abuse happens because we let it. We are not as well educated as a community about it. And to be frank, neither is anyone else unless they have themselves gone through it. There are plenty of white people examples if you browse the internet enough, where a female, regardless of her age is being controlled/abused by her significant other (male OR female). Heck it doesn’t even have to be a significant other. Just today I read this headline: Ottawa student leader subject of explicit Facebook chat by 5 students. They wrote “Someone punish her with their shaft” and “I do believe that with my reputation I would destroy her”. These are university students, not white trash.
