The majority of people on here have not done scholarly statistical research on domestic violence in Pakistan. It stands to reason that they are drawing from personal experience to try to answer your question. If you are looking for a more scholarly approach, perhaps you could phrase you question differently?

The OP seems to read selectively, I have already said I agree with the horrid statistic and my issue was with the thread title, not her post.
