Babuji, pray tell define the 'civilized' world fo us...let us be the judge if the so-called civlized world is as civil as you make it seem to be.

Indeed, the civilized world just may be in the wrong...so who cares what the perception is? Clearly asking for a bit of justice doesn't carry favour among the civilized...perhaps it's time we simply spoke the same rhetorical and hypocritical language.

For a typical (jehadi) \, passion only means flying planes to buildings and nothing else... That is the problem with the everyday muslim. He cannot profess to be a true muslim unless he condones the act of terror attributing them to root causes and the like. As I have said in another topic, muslims would improve the day they separate religion and their work life...

What does the non-Islamic population of the world think about Islam ? Isnt it a common perception that Islam & terrorism are interconnected ?

My response was to Sadiyah's claim that "some" people misunderstand Islam. My counter is that its not "some" but most of the non-Muslims who feel the same way. And preciesely for the reasons I have given in my earlier posts.

I object. It has nothing to do with the truthfulness or falsehood of a religion. It is a matter of psychology.

Majority of Muslims spend their childhood at some Madrisa while learning Quran.

In India the RSS conducts the same drill type learning for its members (since their childhood) and these RSS Hindus are also very passionate about their religion.

Its a very simple theory.

Secondly, anjjan..how many Hindus who've excelled in secular fields of life are actually passionate about their religion. Can they lay their careers on the line for Hinduism..or even their lives? If you are talking about suicide bombing, it is very true that you would find very few people who are willing to do that. Forget priests, there are thousands of well qualified people who have left the luxuries of modern life and devoting their efforts to spread awareness regarding Krishna (ISKON)-- Hinduism.. If you look at the volunteers serving in most of the downtrodden areas you would find that they are christians and are out there to answer the call of god..

Well Richard Nixon in his speech commented first Communism was an open enemy to US, and its evident from Vietnam and USSR. Next he says is Islam which is an open enemy.
