Well, I got news for you. One, that IS attacking Islam when you try to conflate the religion itself with actions that most of the people here whom consider themselves as adherents are bending over backwards to distance themselves from..and are, you guessed it, looking for bloody solutions. Others here continue to point fingers at Islam...and yet not a single one has taken me to task on answering some rather simple questions I've posed.
The very idea that this is unique among Muslims is laughable...the very idea the situation is somehow unrelated to the general situation of lawlessness is even more absurd. And that very well is the implication of those whom are hell bent on using these disgusting incidents as ideological ammunition...as if they give a rat's ass about these women. They hate Islam more than they care for these women...
So...what social and legal tools do we have at our disposal to address the problem? Abandoning Islam is NOT going to happen.
