its like you asked, why we need to eat food, why we need to breathe? why we need to sleep? blah blah..
if there were no satisfaction in such a relation, Allah would have made only ONE gender!! but HE created MEN & WOMEN, for He knew, both will need eachother!!

And why the desire for kids? The reason I ask is frankly this forum is a whose who of people who don’t deserve to be married or those who can’t manage a proper relationship. 1 out of 3 threads is a perfect example of a dysfunctional family where both spouses are too dumb to make a marriage work.

sorry, i dont agree, you can be right but to some extent, you right they couldnt manage their life along, but “ALONG” they may be the worst choice for eachother but that doesnt necessarily mean, if they marry some other, they will still go through the same situation, they might have made the mistake of choosing the wrong person!! and, yeah, you may be sharing your personal perception or maybe the people around you, think the same way, but not only women, also men want to find the best girl around to get married!! they are also very concerned about this matter!!
