So do boy’s parents (although personally, I do not believe that Marriage is anything more than a Sunnah; most people believe otherwise) but they aren’t so obsessed. What gives?

Second, why don’t daughters complain? Or are these above mentioned idiot relatives more important to the parents than their own daughters? If this is the case, then these hypothetical parents are an insult to parenthood.

like i said earlier too ..it is a man’s world :halo:

1. if a father’s alive and his daughter gets divorced but with his full support..people never point fingers.
2. If a daughter has male friends who come over her place and her dad’s ok with it..people might whisper but wouldn’t dare say much
3. If a husband drinks/is on drugs ..people sympathise with the wife and tell her tips to get him on the right way ..if a woman does that all hell breaks lose ..and it ends up with ‘foran talaaq do us bedeen larki ko’
4. If a single mom’s daughter gets separated/divorced the general impression becomes ‘jaisi maa waisi beti’ or ‘us ki maa ne hi tarbyat theek nai ki’
5. If a girl goes the brother should come along too and she needs to get back by 8 …if a boy goes why isn’t her sister asked to accompany him or keep an eye on him

Just few of the reasons which stand by my statement ‘it’s man’s world’ …almost makes me sound as a ‘feminazi’
