above is not true… the main factor is that in Pak we have natural seasonal (organic) foods vegetables/fruits, 2nd meat consumption is mostly average or below average. In west, all foods are processed (even fruits/vegetables you buy) and that means a lot of sugars/starches that make people balloon up..

How are fruits in the west processed?
