No, that’s just wrong. So many women complain about the same type of cold snobby attitude from people. It’s not that they’re the good girls and we’re the bad. Let’s face it and accept it. These women have no manners. Why put the blame on the person that is being friendly to them and trying to make friends? THAT person is the bigger person in all this.

Wut? I am really unfriendly and may even seem rude. I find friendly/bubbly people annoying. I could say the same about them having no manners. They clearly don’t understand the signals being given about not approaching the unfriendly ones. This is f***** why I avoid crowds, especially desi crowds. In my opinion, they are too friendly.

Yeah, these girls see the bad habits of others, mistake it for “coolness”, and then think it’s ok to be impolite to others.

When in reality, they are contributing to the defragmentation of our community.

Pakistanis don’t have much of a community. There are cliques, and that’s about it.

I joined in the same year as you, have 300-some posts, not a single person on the friends list in five years, and if I’d stop posting tomorrow, not a single person on here, would recall my existence. I also don’t (even) have a facebook account. Now thats called talking the talk and walking the walk.

Well, I guess I am pretty popular on GS. I am reclusive offline and the type to stay in the shadows. I do have the foot in the mouth syndrome though. I once said to a colleague “you seem like me, no friends, and you don’t like to socialize, right?” And he gave me a weird look and said, “what are you talking about? I have friends. I like to socialize.” -_____-

This is not about desis, white or black…! good and bad people are everywhere…! so don’t blame each other… but one thing is clear from this thread… that there are two type of peoples those who like desis and those who do not…!

Well I think it’s a universal fact that women in any situation can’t be completely happy in most cases.

Since you’re talking about working women and specially desis they’ve a very different ideology of work. A really beautiful quote applies here in my opinion and the reason why they’re so depressed all the time
