Appreciate if some one name the poet who wrote this shaer

Zahid Sharab peenay day masjid main beth Kar
Ya woh jaga bata day jehan per khuda na ho

As far I know it was written by Mirza Ghalib, can some one confirm this or name the poet who has written this with some proof. Thanks.

Unfortunately, GOOGLE search does bring up the wrong name of Daagh Dehlvi as the first result..

The shair is of Ghalib but the initial poster got it a bit wrong too… the correct shair is:

Waa’iz Sharaab peenay day masjid maiN baiTh Kar
Yaa woh jagah bataa day jehaaN per khuda na ho

I also thought it was written by Mirza Ghalib but some one here did not agree. Can you please do me more favor? If you can give reference/proof that it was written by Ghalib. thanks again.
