I believe that in this world cup, the most balanced and over all strongest team is Sri Lanka, as they have effective bowling attack that consist of all sort of blowing variety, plus they have batsmen that can pace the run rate as well as batsmen that can hold on if required. Almost all of their batsmen can pace the run rate and all their bowlers are penetrating bowlers with good striking rate. For one day:
Australia is not far behind Sri Lanka. Their batting is better then Sri Lanka, but their bowling attack compared to Sri Lanka, lacks variety, penetration, as well as effectiveness.
South Africa is a good team but they are no where near them two, as their over all batting and bowling, both is weak. They are mostly collection of all round players, with few real specialists in any particular field.
In my opinion, there is around 40 percent chance that Sri Lanka would win the world cup. Close second, maybe around 30 percent chance is of Australia. Most likely these two teams would play the final. South Africa in my opinion with around 20 percent chance is at third place. 10 percent chance is of West Indies or New Zealand to win the world cup, as I consider both these team, New Zealand and West Indies as wild card in the pack.
It is possible (though very unlikely) that UK might nudge in into semi final, along with SL, A and SA, else most likely semi finalist would be SL, A, SA and one from NZ and WI. Finalist most likely would be SL and A. But them, cricket is by chance and any team that performs extremely good or extremely bad on the day could upset any prediction.

I think it will be Australia again though i dont want that to happen
for a change i want South Africa to win
but i will be supporting Bangladesh for their efforts and hard work for finally making it to super 8 for the first time :D that to after beating a team like India
