Unless Lara gets too horny, Pakistan should win the one day series quite easily. The combination right now is fantastic, and Sami and Shoaib won't be missed too much. In tests, however, is a different story altogether.

Pakistan has never won a test series in WI.


Test Played: 39          Pak won: 12          WI won: 13          Draw: 14

Pakistan has won only one ODI series in WI. That in 1999/00 in a triangular series.


ODIs Played: 102          Pak won: 38          WI won: 62          Tie: 2

Well Pakistan really came close twice of winning test series in WI but eventually were outnumbered by WI players. Pakistan were playing with 11 players and WI with 13.

Looking at the current series between WI and South Africa, the pitch seems to be a batting one. Pakistani bastmen should be able to score big runs both in One day and Test. WI side is good batting wise but they don't seem to give any threat in their bowling department. I think Pakistan can win if they bat well throughout the series.
