No favirote team has won the world cup since 1989, when Australia defeated England in the world cup final. SInce then no team favirtoe has won.
Aussies were favirtoes in 92 and 96, they lost both, pakistan were the favirotes in 99 and they also lost.
I doubt Australia and Srilanka will win, eihter South Africa or Newzeland have a chance, but no team will dominate the tournament.
Pakistan needs to pick a solid 15 and get them in good form till next Feb by picking the same one day squad for every series they play from now.
Thats exactly what Imran did in 92.

I can surely say AUSSIES coz they can give you a tough challenge in any situation unlike our team which collapses suddenly....

Did u check the scorecard of that match between SA n AUS in which AUS chased 327runs target by scoring 330...openers ...mid order ...their everything is STRONG....even if Gilchrist is asked to bowl im sure he'll be a good bowler(literary).

You are right BUT S.A. do not enjoy the same bowling line up as Pak does. If you take the same match I mean the 327 against Pak bowlers I am sure the situation would have been different. So I would say never underestimate Pak they are always up to something.
