WIth Bangladesh playing ODI's, I think it's only a matter of time before someone does it in 30 balls. I think it will be Afridi himself breaking the record.

Jand, no it won't be any Indian, so do not get too excited. It can't be broken until we have new corp of Twenty20 firing guns entering into mainstream ODIs. Give it a good 5 years.

afridi made 2 test centuries that i can think of the top of my head in 23 tests. Did you know India's premier opener Cheetan Chauhan never scored a century and he played I am sure more than 23!

In ODI it probably could be Younis Khan with 1 century (Against Hong Kong) in 127 ODI's so far, Afridi has 4 in 219 ODI's. As far as tests go Afridi has an average of almost 40 in tests with 5 centureis in 23 matches which is not a bad record at all considering he also has taken 42 wickets at 32.69 his test statistics are kinda impressive.

I think Dhoni is the only one who stands a chance. otherwise, i dont think this record will ever be broken.

How about saeed Anwar record of 194. sachin came close 186 not out. will this be broken?????

If that record is ever broken...I think its only Afridi who can break this record...coz he has this certain madness in him that really drives him...

Dhoni even though is very agressive--has a certain maturity and will play according to the game and there will never be a game where he will be scoring so crazily tht he beats the 37 ball record.
