There is no way Pakistan can afford to make Dr Abdul Qadir Khan as President. He is a suspected (self-admitted) nuclear proliferator. Make him President, and Pakistan will suddenly be both the laughing stock of the world as well as a pariah.
President is more of a ceremonial post, especially once they remove 58-2-B. Anyone else from your list will do (I doubt IK or Qazi are even real candidates for Presidency). Or it could be some other high profile leader from one of the two larger political parties.

A) Best is the Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan - someone "involved" in nuclear proliferation should not be a candidate for the presidency.
B) Chaudry Iftikhar - should someone who has been a CJ be allowed to head another area?
1- Asif Ali Zardari - NO WAY A DESPERATE MEASURE
2- Nawaz Shareef - ALREADY BEEN A FAILED PM 2 TIMES. NO WAY TOO. THE SOONER THE SHARIF BROTHERS LOSE POWER THE BETTER.
3- Imran Khan - GOOD CHOICE BUT NEITHER HAS HE ANY REAL POPULAR SUPPORT NOR IS HE THAT EXPERIENCED IN A POSITION OF POWER.
4- Qazi Hussain Ahmed - NO WAY THE LAST THING PAKISTAN NEEDS IS A FUNDO WHOSE STUDENT GROUP ENFORCES THEIR WILL ON PEOPLE. POWER WILL CORRUPT THIS LOT MORE BUT HE HAS PLENTY OF POLITICAL EXPERIENCE.
5- Asfand Yar Wali - A MUCH BETTER CHOICE THAN NO1, NO2, NO4 IN TERMS OF BEING LESS CORRUP, POWER HUNGRY AND MORE OF A DEMOCRAT BUT WOULD HE COMMITT TO THE WHOLE OF PAKISTAN RATHER THAN JUST PAKHTUNKHWA?
6- Molana Fazul Rehman - A VERSATILE AND OPPORTUNISTIC POLITICIAN WHO BLOWS WITH THE WIND. NOT A GOOD IDEA TO PUT HIM IN A POSITION OF POWER - WOULD NT RESPRESENT PAKISTAN VERY WELL.
What about Amin Fahim, and any other new blood who have built up quite a reputation over the last few years?

President- Amin Fahim (Cool headed, humble, able to perform diplomatic duties, proven politician)

The presidency is a titular post, if we go its real definition as per the original const. We need a titular head, so I dont think it really matters as to who becomes the President. India made AQ Khan's counterpart the Pres, followed by a lady. We can do the same, doesnt matter, might as well make abdul sattar eidhi the president for all it matters.

Giving this proposal a second thought....It's a geat proposal....to get the justice elected we must get a constitutional ammendment to do away with the law which says only a muslim can become the president of Pakistan....
This will make every citizen equal in Pakistan irrespective of their religion, colour or creed...and will be a fantastic step in the right direction....
