It was the guilt. Didn’t exercise at all this week. Diet-wise I was good, but I think I’m losing my appetite coz I don’t want to eat (healthy food) anymore. And it makes me feel dizzy in the afternoon.
I’m sipping on freshly squeezed orange juice right now. What I would like is Godiva’s raspberry chocolate elixir

Aww, I dont mind if it takes a little time, as long as you are doing SOMETHING. It took me a while to get used to exercise and eating better as well. It doesnt happen in a day!
For all those emailing me that they only need to lose a little weight, especially in the tummy/thighs, please please please do the leg lifts I mentioned. I guarantee you that doing those, several times a day for a few minutes a day will have huge results, as long as you are eating right. You will be surprised yourself!!!

Oh, and if you eat an unhealthy snack, try to do an exercise that will burn the amount of fat calories soon after. It's part of training your mind/body.
Just to let you know, others are emailing me to join the club, and your posts will help encourage them. So pleaseeee dont hesitate to post your progress here. Nobody is perfect. Just be consistent. smile
Ok what about an after dinner snack?
Like say you had dinner at 6pm and get hungry again
around 9 or 10. I eat small meals anyways so after a while I get
hungry.
Cereal I guess is a good choice but the ones I like are high in
sugars. :(
You should really try your best to stop eating after 6pm.
Tell me what you have in mind. Why dont you snack on sweet fruits like watermelon, peaches? You will get really full eating any of them, and it will fill your need for sugar.
This is a trick I did. I would take one big date and a glass of water. I would slowly have little nibbles of date, then drink water immediately. So it tasted almost like sweetened water. It was great. You drink enough water while eating the date, and you feel like you’ve had dessert. Well this worked for me, I dunno if it will work for you. smile

hi munni, u picked up on my topic...thats really cool. i am happy to know that ppl r so much taking interest in their health....i want to lose weight too. but so difficult ...i love food and on top of that i am a very good cook. Our problem is generally speaking that we don't quite know our bodies that well. Everyone here the coolest book. (YOU:the owner's manual by Dr Oz.) Plus feel free to ask me about super foods (food hall of fame and food hall of shame....). Secret to losing weight is to know what we are feeding our stomach...
Somebody wrote in the messge above that exercise is boring. Trust me do 10 mins everyday u'll love it. energy creats more energy. if your r lazy today u'll be lazier tomorrow and a biggest couch potato day after....
Munni thats great but i saw ur thread too late as i want to lose weight too not only few pounds i want to lose 10 kg i trying hard to lose but no lost in weight ,munni i will pm u too as i asked my neighbours ladies to join me and we will exercise but no one response good so that will be good idea to join ur group.
but i ahve a problem that i am feeding my 1 year old son so cant do dieting ,i already control me diet but couldnt exercise regulerly.and one bad thing i love sweet dishes one big cause of my weight gain.
