Who wants to lose weight with me?

My goal is 7 to 10 lbs. a month. Very do-able. I did it two months ago, but since Ramadan I havent been doing anything. If you need advice on what low-impact exercise to do to lose weight, just PM me. But you HAVE to stay away from junkfood for the most part.

What I’d like to do is keep in touch via email or chat. Every night, you message me with what exercise you have done and any junkfood you have eaten. I will do the same. In return, I will give you major daant if you didnt exercise, and you do the same with me. Hopefully we will feel guilty enough to do it the next day out of sheer embarrassment. hehe.

Who is up for it? smile

Not when you can picture the results of it. My suggestion is hanging a smaller size piece of gorgeous clothing in your room, that you can eventually fit into if you exercise. grin

ahahhaaha thats all my clothes !! they’d fit better if i lost a few , not too much :slight_smile: Anyway, he finds me attractive, which is more than what anyone said wud be possible :halo:

I am already doing it since end of Ramadan. Smaller size portions of food and working out 3-4 times a week (30-40 mins)

It depends, are you obesely fat or just a little overweight?

If you are just a little overweight, try to build muscle by doing very light weight lifting, and do running exercises 3 times a week.
I am tired of all the 100 lb girls! :mad:

I am not obese, but I used to be.

I've lost over 20 pounds (Mash'Allah), so I know how to lose weight but I just need some encouragement, and having friends that are doing the same thing is a great way to get some motivation.

If you want to know how I lost the weight, just PM me. I didnt take any pills, and I did low-impact stuff. No running. smile

This thread is for those that wanttttttttt to workout wid me. Come on people!!! Where's the spirit? grin

I'm with you on this one. I've got about 5-10 lbs to lose only so it doesn't matter if it takes me 2 months. I've already lost a lot of weight since July (I was 72-kgs and now I'm 55-kgs; I've gone from a size 14-UK to a size 8-UK) and I look pretty good, lekin a few pounds down would be the icing on the cake...(Ok, let's not talk about cakes). Anyway, we can PM each other since I don't like chatting on an open forum.

For the people that PMed me and those here that want to know what I did or want to join me, please note that you cant just not do any exercise and expect to lose weight. Eating right will simply maintain your weight. You may lose a little, but not much. It's the exercise that will burn the calories. The exercise I did was not hard, but you have to put time aside to do it. For example, less time on gupshup. Thats not very hard ppl!

I can only tell you what I did, its upto you to follow-through. But if you do exactly what I did, you are likely to lose atleast 7 lbs a month. Insha'Allah.

So if I tell you what I did and you tell me, "I cant do that", thats just making an excuse. I used to be a professional excuse maker myself, hehe. Every single person can make time to exercise. I had a schedule that kept me busy from 8AM to 9:30PM, and I could only exercise after 9:30PM(which is why I wasnt on gup), so no excuses people. grin

although im neither fat nor skinny...but as ive gone through lots of people's replies... people knows how to lose weight....but does anyone know how to actually gain 5-10 pounds of weight? .. Despite eating a lot... ( I eat a lot )... i was just thinking if there's any medication i can take with the food, that can make me gain 5-10pounds?
ur help on this regard would be highly appreciated .. :)

Do some light weightlifting. Add muscle tone. Eat some more protein and more carbs. Have a spagetti dinner. Your metabolism will slow down by the time you’re in your mid 20s and you won’t have this problem anymore.
