GK, when I say we rotate it’s not pre-planned. We don’t decide before meeting at the given venue who will pay..nor does anyone make a big deal out of it. When we’re done it’s still all very casual.. “let me pay, you paid last time..”. The person who has the bill may or may not even pass it on.. and pay again. Alhamdulilah no one makes a big deal about it.

I’ve overheard a couple ‘going dutch’ too where the guy asked the lady to pay the extra amount because she had 2 drinks and he had just one.

You make a perfect sense, my fair lady, yet the unplanned rotation does not necessarily mean a clueless “pick up the tab”…

we all know who did not pay the last time…
