Living among the wolfs and not knowing how to howl makes it incongruent, indeed if you are living in a society where the concept of “go dutch” is a foreign enough to accept , people may opt to rotate which in essence is “going dutch”.
So the crux of the matter is that you may call it what ever you feel pleased about, sharing the burden is a “way to go”, however with that said if you can afford to pay for your friends you should and do it over and again.
