We usually rotate, no one really keeps a tab though. I don’t like the idea of ‘going dutch’.. or people pitching-in to pay for a meal/coffee etc (especially when people do it at the table and begin splitting there and calculating!)

I hate the calculating at the restaurant myself (especially the tip - since I tip well and some others don’t like to tip generously), but I find if you insist on paying for everyone all of the time, it offends people and yet the other people would prefer to go dutch. So, it all depends on the company you’re with.
