although i'm not sure if he's more of an engineer than a scientist, he sure was a lot of things, and good with it all.

oh blasphemy, edison was an idiot in comparison. :mad: he even stole a bunch of ā€œhisā€ inventions. da vinci was all class, his drawings are still used in anatomy classrooms in med schools all over.

um...aint edison and steve jobs were more into getting patents than doing the actual work???

kher...scientist is the one who uses science...and Da Vinci's every work speaks for the use of scientific accuracy, perspective and experiementation...even his frekin paintings.

at that time making and getting paint pigments were extremely expensive and hard thing. especially the color blue.

you mean the light bulb invented by joseph swan? :snooty: edison just improved upon what was already there and claimed it as his own. and the modern light bulb with tungsten filament was invented by someone else later.
