after reading the thread on shaikh hamza yousaf …it came to me why not ask fellow muslim brother who is the most followed aalim…
i always regarded shaikh hamza yousaf,and moulana tariq jameel in this category …

These ppl pale in comparison to Grand Shiekh, Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Qubrisi Nashqbandi. He is the blessing of the Muslims and Allah's chosen one of this Earth and this time.
The Shiekh of the age. Bounty and aql flow from them like a river. Sitting in their esteemed presence for 1 minute is more rewarding them 1 million namaz. :)

angelo_dundee, I did a google on Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Qubrisi Nashqbandi but couldn't find any related links. Maybe the name is spelled differently? Do you know any website that shows his views?
Ayatollah Syed Ali Sistani has an English website and also a Q & A site, I will definitely look into.
The one for Sheikh Yousaf Al-Qaradawi was only in Arabic. Maddy, do you know if he has an English website?

Angelo, Thanks! It does give information about the Sheikh but not what he believes in. Like what is his fatwa on democracy or say Quran?
I am curious, how did you or I suppose followers of Nashqbandi came up with this I million namaz equal to a 1 minute mulaqa'at. And does this mean, you meat him for 5 minutes and you don't have to say prayers for a lifetime?
Its not meant literaly. Its just like saying "team A is a million times better then team B".
Namaz is never forgiven as an obligation. All this means that being in the company of a shiekh is akin to prayer-both are a state of worship of Allah.
