But will Patron in chief consider giving the job to anyone like him.

Justice (retd) Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim (considering this is and should always be considered an administrative post). The Chairman's role is essentially to ensure discipline and professionalism within PCB

Ijaz Butt has no business poking his nose in team selection matters etc.

Ramiz Raja can be GM but not chairman. A chairman is mostly for administrative purposes.

We need some one who can be extremely strict and disciplined.

Noor Khan if he was alive. But Majid Khan or Chishti Mujahid (if alive) are also good administrators.

Imran Khan off course is the best choice but he has already made clear (I guess it was last year) that he has changed his playing field and is not interested in any PCB stint.

Imran Khan w'd be the obvious choice but then he is not interested and has enough on his plate without being involved in cricket

So I went for a more practical choice and there is no better person at present other than Justice (retd.) Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim IMO.

This man's integrity and honesty is undisputed

GA, its hard to doubt Integrity of F.G.Ibrahim but administrator should be authoritative too which I dont think he is. Plus I am not sure about his domain knowledge too. If being honest is the only requirement then I am sure we can dig out many other people like Atta Ur Rehman etc etc.

@ Waleed,

PCB Chairman is essentially an administrative post. Although some knowledge of cricket is desirable (which every Pakistani has btw) it is not an absolute requirement
