You guys are missing the point : there is a LOT more to life than people's skin color, the language they speak or whether they are a FOB or an ABCD. We really need to be more tolerant here. You cant just not stand ppl because they are more americanised or speak english and not urdu. I just dont understand how people can make assumptions about others without knowing them. Its very childish and immature to say the least.

How do you want kids born and raised here to do anyways? THis is their culture, this is their world. They are American Muslims and not just pakistanis. Do you blame them because they speak english better than you do? You can make fun of them for speaking an accented urdu if you want. SHeesh!!!

Ira you are absolutely right about "cant stand part". I love my country and love the people to an extent. But i doubt it if i can be with someone who lives there right now.

cant stand abcds, trying to be black, or white, never trying to be brown, they r american if they think in english, not pakistani.

im going to tell you something, u can be born in pakistan live there for 10 years, move out of pakistan go to a different country live there for 10 years, go back to visit pakistan, and the pakistani there wont consider you an pakistani (i hope u know wat i mean, i dont know how to say it, but i think u will get the picture), the place where u live wont consider u their own either...thats the fact

Btw, Impulse you are making a huge judgement here. I know some very good ABCDs kids raised by their parents as good muslims. They seem to be more concerned about being good muslims rather than just "patriotic pakistanis".

very good point..there are many ABCD's that could careless about culture and focus more on religion. being ABCD doesnt mean you are a bad person.

a lot of pakistan culture and rituals are based on hindu beliefs....somebody neeeeeds to check that out soooooooooooon.............like oil cermony bs..."tial mehndi" friggin basant kite flyin thing...does any one know the history behind it...they all dummies like a play boi bunny
