your comparison between a call center and the famous 2am calls is downright silly - unless ofcourse you have concluded that the Pakistani president is no different from a NOIDA call center worker. (I frankly think the NOIDA worker is a lot nobler and is working hard to make a honest living whereas the other guy was being told to tow the line or else).
Contracts are for consideration. I don't why you don't get that. Abiding by terms of contract is not obeyance unless you're just using the term wrongly.
That's the problem with many "Mother India" believers in India.
Just go read the archives of BBC, and Indian papers in the period following WTC attack.
You will see, how everyone from your PM, down to the Army chief were all wearing nickers and jumping up and down begging the USA "Mujhay lay lo", "Mujhay lay lo", Main tumko military bases bhi doon, petrol bhi doon, mujhay lay lo.
It was quiet a spectacle how Indians were begging the USA.
In that environment, Indians PMs would have loved to get a 2 am call ust like the NOIDA KAALL SENTUR.
But you won't see, and the reason is that very few Indians can digest the presence of Pakistan.
Even balanced thinkers like you won't let go of any chance to put down Pakistan.
And that is sad.
Re: Who is America?
Tell you what - put aside your notion, just temporarily, that Indians begged the US mujay lelo. Go back and look at what was said with an open mind, knowing that India has been for a while then been collecting and sheperding international attention to the sponsorship of terrorism in Pakistan. Then you come back and tell me if that is the same as Musharaf being called and told to either start acting as asked or else.
The presence of Pakistan doesn't bother Indians. It is Pakistan's current inability and past unwillingness to eliminate terrorism that cannot be accepted.

Why was India so concerned about terrorism sponsorship in Pakistan? With all due respect, the terrorists really don't care about India...their efforts are usually directed towards the West. If you think the terrorists cared about India, then you would have seen some drastic events taking place thanks to the close proximity of the countries.
And please don't give me the example of the Mumbai attacks...that whole event is up for debate as to what exactly went on there.
Also, Musharraf was a smart man...he knew exactly how to deal with the US and not let them walk all over him. Even if the US called, the ball was in Musharraf's court and he handled it just fine.
The presence of Pakistan has and always will both Indians. They honestly can't come to terms with the fact that we broke away. As far as elimination of terrorism is concerned, please don't be too worried about it. We'll handle it just fine. Meanwhile why don't you go and tackle the extreme poverty and discriminatory caste system in most of India where the lowest cast is treated worse than animals.

cherryontop - are you seriously asking why India should be bothered abut Pakistan's sponsorship of terrorism? we Indians have been the worst victims of Pakistan's policy ob terrorism sponsorship. Thousands have been killed in Kashmir over several decades by terrorists sponsored from across the border. Mumbai attack is just a latesr example - btw your government has admitted under force of evidence that kasab is a Pakistani, so don't even try to wiggle out of that.
Did you not read about the valiant girl in Kashmir that snatched the ak47 out of the terrorist from Pakistan and shot them where it counts? that was after the Mumbai attack I think.
It is not Indians who cannot live with the fact of Pakistan. It is actually Pakistan who cannot live with the fact they Kashmir is with India and they thought terrorism in the name of mujahideen warfare would somehow get Kashmir to them...it has backfired big time on you and now they don't know how to put the frankenstein they created back in the bottle
