Who is Allah?

:smack: genius 1=3 ? no 1=1 only, 1 != 3

where != means “Not Equal”
:k:

sorry i meant other "worlds" not "other worlds"

sholay, thanks for the verses. Are there any other?

I hope my questions are not coming across as being a "challenge", or sarcasm or skepticism. I am asking in sincerity, and my only intention is to gain more knowledge about Islam.

A few more are given below:

"So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the LORD AND CHERISHER OF THE WORLDS; Surah 26:16

"... Oh my Lord, indeed I have wronged my soul. I SUBMIT MYSELF ALONG WITH SOLOMON, TO GOD THE LORD OF THE WORLDS" Surah, 27:44.

"Say "Shall we call those things besides God, which can neither harm us nor benefit us, and shall we turn back after God has guided us - like one possessed by the devils, who has companions (sahaba!) Who invite him, saying "Come to us?" Say, 'The guidance of God is indeed true guidance and WE ARE COMMANDED TO SUBMIT TO THE LORD OF THE WORLDS (wa umirna li nuslimn li rabbil aalameen)" Surah 6:71

Oh my Lord, indeed I have wronged my soul. I SUBMIT MYSELF ALONG WITH SOLOMON, TO GOD THE LORD OF THE WORLDS" Surah, 27:44

When his Lord said to him "Submit" he said " I submit to the LORD OF THE WORLDS" Surah 2:131

Re: Re: Who is Allah?

Thanx a lot dude for the insight.Ohh…and thank god …i haven’t hurt anyone’s feelings as well..

Ahh...and one more question...

How old is islam as a religion...and who founded/re-invented it?

^^ If you ask muslims like me i will say islam is as old as time.It was the religion of Adam or Hazrat Adam. And it was completed on Hazrat Muhammed (PBUH) . Thats why he is the last messenger of God, message of God is complete now.

^^ Precisely.

Mr yahudi I know that u aint a yahudi , and there are no yahudis on this BB.

But I just wanted to clarify how united are Abraham’s religions on the matter of God, yes !! Christianity has veered off at a tangent but Judaism and Islam share a strong bond in their beliefs.

May be some of u Hindus will actually learn something and embrace one of the three Abraham’s religions, rather then to follow myths and stories.

May God show u the right path.:)

I quote (Islamic and Jewish view)
"
Judaism insists on a notion of monotheism, the idea that there is one God. As Judaism understands this idea, God cannot be made up of parts, even if those parts are mysteriously united. The Christian notion of trinitarianism is that God is made up of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Such a view, even if called monotheistic because the three parts are, by divine mystery, only one God, is incompatible with the Jewish view that such a division is not possible. The Jewish revolutionary idea is that God is one. This idea allows for God's unity and uniqueness as a creative force. Thus, for Jews, God is the creator of all that we like and all that we don't. There is no evil force with an ability to create equal to God's. Judaism sees Christianity's trinitarianism as a weakening of the idea of God's oneness. However, all mainstream Jewish groups reject the idea of God's having three parts. Indeed, many Jews see an attempt to divide God as a partial throwback, or compromise with, the pagan conception of many gods. "

it is hypothetical question

one prays to allah five times but other says 5 times he does not
believe in allha but does others things right
whom god will help?

Allah (swt) helps all of His creation as He deems fit. Just because one prays fives times a day does not mean that Allah (swt) is bound to help him. In fact sometimes Allah test His faithful with trials in this life for their steadfastness.

Allah help those who help themselves. you put in the effort and leave the result to him. the better you are prepared, the better result you'll get.

Baby Gulab,
‘you put in the effort and leave the result to him’

This idea is stolen from Gita.

Mr. Yahudi,

The origin of all the great religions is one supreme being, Allah. Hinduisim is no different. So your argument that 'the idea is stolen from Gita' is very hollow.

Didn't exactly understand what you are asking

rvikz, your question is very strange. What is more important right prayer or right preparation? Depends on what you want to achieve good result or good result with Allah's will? Two different things , Allah can see the bigger picture which we can't , ultimately whats most important? to a believer hereafter should be more important and so he will prepare but will never prepare without prayer because only Allah knows what more beneficial for him.

ok..to put it more nicely...rviks: No, if u do not believe what u are praying in, there is no use praying. Understand? (stop deleting my posts..GOD). Intention, ok, INTENTION.

Thanx for sharing valuable views.

How is that possible? No one heard of Allah or Islam before Muhamad came about, what, around 1400 years or so?
