btw i also caught a couple of mahi mahi (4-5) feets, sharks 3-5 fts, marlin ~8 ft, cobia 4 ft ... and a oyester ~2 inches.. :D

well to go offshore you need a bigger boat (make some friends with big boats and expensive rod and reels). fishing is not like we see in movies where one old man sits on a chair with its line in the water and waits for hours.
fishing requires extreme physical fitness (off shore fishing), it took me about 1 hour of constant pulling and chasing the blue marlin. it was like 225 pounds. there are tricks to catch a 225 or any size fish with an 10 pound strength fish.
its real hard work man. you have to travel for hours in sea water to get to the spot and then you do trolling and stuff to catch bigger fishes.
big boats are expensive to rent and consume fuel like anything.
i like docking to the oil rigs and fish for sharks there. btw sharks put most fight back when they are on the deck.
you will be surprized what they use as baits, it ranges from plastic airplanes to plastic fishes and metal weights etc.
not to mention that hours in the water gives you a different kind of feeling... especially if you brought your food and drinks along with you...
its right season .. you need to go fishing .
i want to do over night tuna bow fishing...
hunting seems to boring... wel unless you are using bow and arrow..

Gone fishing with kids , made some vids. Nothing big just for fun.
It is real fun for whole family.
During summer months the whole family goes fly fishing in the home.

Hunting is real fun too. You know place you would be scared to death to go to, by your self. Like miles and miles of "banjer" land on the river bank.
I mean in winter all night with you friends, on jeep with strong light, with guns.
You actually go to those places. Chase after animals. I loved that part.
To hunt birds, we use to trick them. Find a water pound: put plastic decoys in the water, like ducks or some thing. Then hide on light bushes on the side. Some time water up to you belt. And finally when we see a flock passing by.
Use that little thing, which make duck like sound.
When birds listen that voice and look at decoys in the water they start flying low.
Then we use BB or some other cartages to shoot them.
lol poor bird. Their last words must me "freakin deceptive pakis"
In pakistan biggest adventure is hunt a pig. No one eats it but every one wants them dead, they make mess in fields.
I loved it man. So much fun.

sounds fun... i never been hunting... in india hunting is illegal...
i am in louisiana which is hunters paradise... so this year i will take your advice and go hunting...
one more step towards becoming a red neck... oh well...

FISHING!!! O.M.G.!! If I could choose a different life to live, I'd be a fisherwoman lol! I LOVELOVELOVE to fish!!! I used to go every night in the summer with my dad and we'd mostly catch flounder which is the MOST delicious thing to eat. But DEEP SEA fishing! wowee! I caught a yellowfin tuna once - it remains the most amazing thing I've ever eaten in my life. I also used to go "crabbing" - in daytime, the technique is so much different than at night since they stay on the bottom of the sea in the day but come to surface at night. Clamming for mussels and cherrystones.
The sea is definitely for me!!
And I have to admit that I'm a hypocrite in a way because I am SO against hunting animals. I think its just SO mean. Logically I realize that theres no difference whether your prey comes from land or sea but I so love land creatures that I'd never be able to shoot. And hypocritally worse even than that is the fact that I am SUCH a meat-a-saurus. I love steak, could eat it every night and the only thing better than a huge juicy steak is a platter of lamb chops.

You know some time in hunting its more driving around in the dark in wilderness than to actually shooting at animals. I love that part.
I am scared of see because I am not a good swimmer , never will be I have dense bone structure. Good for combat supports not so good for swimming.

I went deer hunting a couple of times. but it was ages ago. not my style..my hunting focus changed later :)
