So who is on a fast broadband connection? How fast is it and how much do you pay?

I have 1.5MB down/256KB up and I pay ~$35/month for Verizon DSL.

I could get 4 MB down and 512KB up, but that costs more and would require some rewiring in my apartment.

Patta nahi. It's a normal cable connection (Chello) and costs me 49 Euro/month

I’m in Holland

You UK walay need to do some catching up. We will have DSL2 here very soon, the speeds for that start at 10Mbit. And you can have Telephone, Internet and Cable TV all through one and the same line.. and you get to make local calls within the country for free…

Tiscali are doing a good deal in the UK £15.99 per month for 1Mbps Broadband, free connection, free set up. Its one of the best deals I`ve seen.

I am currently in two minds on whether to get it as i am on dial up at the moment.
